Death Toll Rises as Ukrainian Drone Strikes Hit Russian Logistics Hub and Capital

Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin reported a staggering volume of aerial activity, stating that more than 370 drones were detected heading toward the Moscow metropolitan area. Using the government-supported communication platform MAX, Sobyanin detailed that the city's sophisticated air defense systems were put to the test. According to the Mayor, the vast majority of the drones were intercepted before they could reach their targets, with 64 enemy drones being successfully destroyed in the immediate vicinity of the capital.

Military analysts suggest that the targeting of logistics centers like the one in Tambov signals a strategic shift in Ukraine's approach. By striking the infrastructure that supports the movement of goods and supplies, Kyiv aims to create economic instability and disrupt the internal operational capacity of the Russian state.
